How Music Therapy Helps

"Music transcends both the physical and the verbal: this enables it to comfort and heal in a remarkable and unique way. But this healing needs to achieve its full effect, and MusicSpace hopes to offer such expertise for those who need it."

Dr Jeffrey Tate - President of MusicSpace

MusicSpace therapists work with people of all ages with varying physical and mental health care needs, for example improving the communication skills of a pre-school child or helping reduce tension and anxiety within a group of terminally ill patients.

Children and adults are referred to our branches through local NHS Trusts, Local Education Authorities, Social Services, parents, carers, self referral, the voluntary sector or other agencies.
